About the role

Eastman is looking for a Material Coordinator to manage the material and spare‑part warehouse at its Oulu plant on a one‑year fixed‑term basis. You will ensure efficient, safe, and reliable warehouse operations supporting production and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full material flow: ordering, receiving, shelving, picking and delivering to end users.
• Maintain accurate stock balances and locations, conduct withdrawals, inventories and demand planning.
• Create and edit item requests and master data in the SAP system.
• Investigate deviations such as losses, incorrect transfers or shelving errors.
• Manage inbound and outbound freight, domestic shipments and transport documentation.
• Keep safety data sheets up to date and monitor quality requirements (packaging, handling, pallet types, markings).
• Process complaints related to shortages, damages or errors.
• Develop and improve warehouse processes for higher efficiency.
• Handle archive documents, digitise when needed and maintain the Alma document system.

Required profile

• Logistics or other relevant technical education.
• Experience in an industrial warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Systematic, careful work approach with a sense of initiative and responsibility.
• Good command of English.
