Manager, Modernization Processes

About the role

Konecranes is looking for a Manager, Modernization Processes to join its BU Service Quality team and help develop end-to-end processes for its project-based service business. The team works closely with Product Line Modernizations to support business growth and operational efficiency and owns the processes and systems of the Product Line. The role can be based flexibly at any Konecranes location, ideally within a European time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end global processes for project-based services
• Develop and deploy global modernization processes, procedures, guidelines and systems
• Create new process documentation and training materials and maintain existing ones
• Coordinate system and reporting development requirements for the process area
• Provide system, process and reporting training and support for business users
• Work with local process owners and stakeholders to review processes and optimise them end-to-end
• Monitor and improve process performance and compliance with Regional and Global Modernization teams
• Act as the Project Management Excellence champion, covering project management skills, risk and opportunity management, change management and daily management routines

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in process ownership, process development or a similar business development role
• Strong project management experience
• Change management experience and stakeholder influence in a matrix organisation
• Experience leading system development and implementation
• Fluent English; other languages are an advantage
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with remote teams

Required skills

• Experience in an industrial, engineering or modernisation business is highly valued; candidates from other sectors may be considered
• SAP or similar ERP experience; Siebel and Teamcenter are an advantage
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, and PMP certification, are advantages
• Enthusiasm for applying tools such as AI to process development
