Logistics Manager – Consumables (ECA Region)

About the role

Metso is seeking a Logistics Manager for the Consumables business area to lead regional logistics across the Europe, Central Asia and Africa (ECA) region. Based in Finland, you will ensure reliable supply of screening media, wear liners, mill lining components and related products to mining customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop logistics staff, fostering safety, accountability and operational excellence.
• Oversee visibility and tracking of shipments to warehouses, customer facilities, mine sites and remote locations.
• Implement logistics processes, KPIs and continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, sales and service teams to align logistics with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers, customs and regulatory partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and transportation regulations.

Required profile

• Proven logistics or supply‑chain leadership experience in mining, heavy industry or industrial consumables.
• Experience overseeing multi‑site warehouse or distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of operational processes and regulatory requirements.
