Key Account Manager - Finland

About the role

GE Vernova's Electrification team is looking for a Key Account Manager to join its Power Transmission North Europe team, working remotely for customers in Finland. The role is customer-facing and covers the transmission, distribution, power generation and industrial sectors, with significant control over commercial properties and collaboration with colleagues in Power Transmission North Europe and the wider Grid Solutions organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of Power Transmission products by building new customer accounts and growing business with existing clients
• Build sales and growth strategies, including account and action plans for each assigned customer and key offering
• Turn prospects into closed deals, from prospecting through to closure
• Lead outcome-selling processes to understand customer business outcomes and align the value proposition
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with colleagues in Power Transmission North Europe, Grid Solutions and other GE Vernova businesses
• Apply disciplined commercial practices, use CRM tools and think analytically through complex sales processes

Required profile

• Customer-oriented, energetic self-starter with a growth mindset and commitment to integrity
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform well under pressure in a distributed sales structure
• Understanding of commercial sales processes, deal execution and cross-functional coordination
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Full proficiency in English and Finnish
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical/commercial discipline is a plus, though experience is more important
