HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Trane Technologies, a global provider of climate solutions for buildings, homes and transportation, is hiring an HVAC Service Technician in Finland. The work is field-based, carried out on-site at customer locations, and covers commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of HVAC equipment and systems. The role also includes accurate reporting, standby or on-call duties when required, and representing the company professionally with customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Commission and service HVAC equipment and systems in line with company standards
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems at customer sites
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, equipment replacements and service upgrades
• Complete service documentation and reporting accurately and on time
• Take part in standby and on-call rosters to provide technical support during and outside normal hours
• Follow safety rules, regulations and company policies, and comply with legal and certification requirements for HVAC servicing
• Maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues, and support internal and external audits and quality reviews
• Attend company technical training and use company vehicles, tools, software and reporting systems

Required profile

• Technical education (or higher) in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical engineering or a related field
• Experience servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment such as chillers; data centre experience is an asset
• Required certifications and licences, especially F-Gas and electrician qualification (S3)
• Willingness to join standby/on-call arrangements and to drive and work across multiple locations
• Good technical problem-solving, independence, professionalism and English proficiency; local language skills
