HSE Supervisor - Energy & Industrial Projects

About the role

Tekniq, an international consulting, recruitment and resource management company active in the energy, marine and industrial sectors, is looking for experienced HSE Supervisors to join its customers' projects in Finland and across Europe. The role centres on promoting and maintaining a strong health, safety and environmental culture on site, in international project environments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and develop HSE activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with local occupational health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations
• Plan and implement HSE processes, including risk assessments, safety training, emergency preparedness and safe working practices
• Support project management and site personnel on all HSE matters
• Carry out safety inspections, audits and observations and follow up on corrective actions
• Prepare HSE reports and communicate safety performance to stakeholders
• Promote continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture, working with clients, contractors and project teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Previous experience in industrial project environments or construction sites
• Experience in energy, power generation, pulp and paper, marine or process industries; experience with boiler or power plant projects is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, leadership and organisational abilities
• Professional working proficiency in English
