About the role
StaffMill Oy is looking for an experienced welder for a 6‑month fixed‑term position in Parkano. The role involves a variety of welding tasks, primarily on a two‑shift schedule with the possibility of three‑shift work.
Key responsibilities
- Perform welding using various methods, including MAG and powder‑arc techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to execute work accurately.
- Apply material knowledge and metal properties to ensure proper welding.
- Adhere strictly to welding standards, classes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality control and inspection of weld seams.
Required profile
- Proficiency in MAG welding, MAG filler‑wire welding, and powder‑arc welding.
- Experience welding plates thicker than 15 mm.
- Attention to detail and careful workmanship.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Basic English language skills.
