Head of Business Controlling, Nordics

About the role

KONE, a global leader in elevators and escalators, is looking for a Head of Business Controlling, Nordics to lead its Business Controlling function across the region. You will lead a team of 9, including Regional and Business Line Controllers, and act as a trusted business partner to leaders across the Nordic organization. As a member of the Nordic Finance Leadership Team, you will help drive business performance, support decision-making and ensure strong financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights and analysis on key drivers, risks and opportunities, and constructively challenging business assumptions
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, performance review and performance management processes across the region, and support strategic planning and scenario analysis
• Lead and develop the Nordic Business Controlling team in a matrix environment, fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices across countries and business lines
• Ensure consistent controlling practices, reporting standards and performance management processes
• Ensure effective financial controls and adherence to KONE policies and governance requirements, and act as a key finance stakeholder on compliance and governance matters

Required profile

• Extensive experience in business controlling, FP&A, finance business partnering or related finance leadership roles, ideally in an international corporate environment
• Proven ability to partner with, influence and challenge senior business stakeholders
• Experience leading teams directly and/or through a matrix organization
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with a business-oriented mindset, able to balance partnership with governance and control
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English; a Nordic language is an advantage
• Willingness to travel within the Nordics
