Group Legal and Privacy Manager

About the role

As the Group Legal and Privacy Manager you will be a strategic partner for Sales, Product, Finance, Security and senior leadership. You will own the end‑to‑end commercial contracting process, drive GDPR and other regulatory compliance, and build scalable legal practices for a fast‑growing SaaS fintech company operating across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor, partnership, licensing and SaaS agreements, ensuring consistency and commercial practicality.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Security and Technology teams to align contracts with product capabilities and regulated requirements such as DORA.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, frameworks and best‑practice guidelines; support implementation of a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
• Monitor GDPR, DORA, EU AI Act and related regulations; translate legal changes into actionable business guidance.
• Serve as the internal expert on data‑privacy matters, handling data‑subject requests and embedding Privacy‑by‑Design into product development.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal and regulatory risks, strengthening overall risk‑and‑compliance posture.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with several years of experience in commercial law, preferably within SaaS, fintech or data‑intensive environments.
• Hands‑on, business‑oriented mindset with a track record of supporting sales cycles and complex, regulated transactions.
• Proven ability to lead a small team and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English; fluency in Finnish or Swedish is a plus.
