Customer Service & Sales Assistant – New ELIXIA Pirkkala Gym

About the role

The new ELIXIA Pirkkala gym, a nearly 2,000 m² premium wellness centre, opens in January 2027. The employer is looking for the first customer service and sales staff to build the centre's atmosphere and membership experience before opening. Work starts in the presale phase, then continues as a normal customer service role across several gyms in the Tampere area. The position is permanent and part-time, about 8–20 hours per week, starting December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Presale: meet prospective members at the stand, explain the new ELIXIA Pirkkala, find out their needs, sell memberships and help build the centre's reputation together with the team.
• After opening: greet members proactively, open conversations and ask questions, sell memberships, PT services and products, and handle member questions and situations.
• Keep the centre running smoothly, tidy and ready, following operational routines.

Required profile

• Social courage to approach people and start conversations; no need to be very outgoing.
• Interest in people and a willingness to serve them individually.
• Energy, presence and a positive, solution-oriented, proactive attitude.
• Interest in goal-oriented sales and a desire to improve sales skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Age 18+, and the ability to serve customers in Finnish and English.
