CSA Project Manager - Data Center

About the role

A data center delivery partner, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning, is seeking an experienced CSA Project Manager for a project based in Helsinki. The role leads Civil, Structural and Architectural works so that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages across the project lifecycle
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and coordinate with the wider project team
• Ensure site QA/QC processes are implemented according to project specifications and standards
• Develop and manage project schedules with planners, subcontractors, consultants and design teams
• Manage subcontractor performance, progress, resources and documentation, including safety documents
• Chair and attend site meetings, engineering reviews, planning meetings and handover meetings
• Liaise with the design team so construction information is issued on schedule, and review drawings, specifications and technical submissions
• Oversee health and safety performance and promote a strong safety culture
• Drive commercial performance by managing variations, budgets and weekly commercial meetings
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and stakeholders, and oversee snagging and project close-out
• Identify and resolve technical, design and coordination issues proactively

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a similar discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the CSA construction sector, with significant project management experience
• Proven experience managing Civil, Structural and Architectural works on large-scale projects
• Experience in project planning, scheduling and programme delivery
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and variations
• Data center, industrial or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
