AOCS Engineer – Spacecraft Analysis & Attitude Control

About the role

ICEYE is looking for an AOCS Engineer to lead the design, analysis and on‑orbit performance of attitude and orbit control systems for its growing SAR satellite constellation. You will work across Espoo and Warsaw in a hybrid setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure precise spacecraft control.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and improve on‑orbit performance of AOCS components across a 40+ satellite constellation.
• Conduct performance analyses and trade studies for ADCS and propulsion hardware solutions.
• Lead market studies, design new AOCS components and integrate them following established processes.
• Define, execute and maintain verification procedures for AOCS hardware.
• Lead or participate in multi‑disciplinary anomaly investigations to determine root causes.

Required profile

• Strong expertise and passion for attitude and orbit control of Earth‑Observation satellites.
• Experience with the full lifecycle of AOCS systems, from design to maintenance.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with engineers across locations.
