Verification Engineer - Patient Monitoring Devices

About the role

GE Healthcare is looking for a Verification Engineer on a fixed-term maternity leave replacement. The role contributes to the verification and validation of advanced patient monitoring devices, helping deliver high-quality solutions that improve patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product verification strategy, including test planning, execution, documentation and continuous improvement.
• Create, maintain and execute manual test cases for patient monitoring devices.
• Design, implement, review and run automated tests using Robot Framework and Python.
• Build and maintain test setups needed for reliable, repeatable test execution.
• Investigate, analyse and report product or system defects with clear documentation.
• Contribute as a member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary agile development team.
• Work in a cross-functional, multicultural and global environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing automated tests with Robot Framework and scripting languages such as Python, and manual verification.
• Understanding of agile development processes.
• Experience using AI-based tools or methods to improve engineering workflows.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and legal right to work in Finland.
• Desired: hands-on experience testing clinical patient monitoring products, test-driven development, familiarity with GE Healthcare patient monitoring products, and experience with cross-cultural teams.
