Software Engineer

About the role

Aiforia is looking for a driven Software Engineer to build and improve AI‑powered products for clinical and research users in medical image analysis. You will work across the full stack, contributing to both back‑end services and the web applications used daily by pathologists and scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, robust solutions across the stack, from back‑end services and APIs to user‑facing web features.
• Develop, write, and optimise production‑level code for both front‑end and back‑end components.
• Write and maintain AI workflow specifications, repository context, and prompts.
• Ensure high code quality through reviews, unit tests, and validation protocols.
• Document technical details to support development, regulatory compliance, and cross‑team collaboration.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain existing products to guarantee seamless performance in clinical and research settings.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of full‑stack or software engineering experience.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; fluency in written and spoken English.
• Daily hands‑on use of AI coding tools and ability to explain AI agent context and verification.

Required skills

• Strong programming experience with C#/.NET.
• Proficiency in modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases, and cloud computing platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
