Senior Software Engineer – Meta Workspaces

About the role

Smartly’s Meta Workspaces team builds the core product that helps advertisers manage, automate and scale campaigns on Meta. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and evolve high‑volume advertising workflow systems used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services and full‑stack product capabilities for Meta Workspaces.
• Develop and operate integrations with the Meta Marketing API.
• Own high‑impact features from discovery through rollout and iteration.
• Improve scalability, reliability, performance and observability of production services.
• Explore AI‑enabled tools to boost engineering productivity and product quality.

Required profile

• Strong experience shipping production software as a backend or full‑stack engineer.
• Professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Practical experience with relational databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Ability to make thoughtful technical decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
