Senior Accountant

About the role

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad accounting and reporting role in an international environment. You will have a key role in ensuring reliable financial information while helping us improve finance processes and ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• General ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Monthly and year‑end financial closings and financial statement preparation (FAS)
• Participate in IFRS reporting to support group reporting requirements
• Fixed asset and capital expenditure accounting
• VAT, taxation, statutory and authority reporting
• Develop accounting, reporting and internal control processes and maintain related documentation
• Support improvement of finance processes and ways of working

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Solid experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of Finnish Accounting Standards (FAS)
• Good knowledge of taxation, VAT and fixed asset accounting
• Proactive, dependable, enjoys ownership and practical solutions

Required skills

• Experience with SAP
• Strong Excel skills
• Fluent in Finnish and English
• Knowledge of IFRS and group finance processes (advantage)
