About the role

The KONE Industrial Institute (TOL) in Hyvinkää offers a full‑time apprenticeship program for electricians to specialise in elevator technology. The programme combines theoretical training with on‑the‑job learning and prepares participants for a professional qualification in elevator installation and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of elevators and inclined moving walkways across various KONE sites in Finland.
• Install new elevator systems under supervision, applying electrical installation standards.
• Participate in work placements that account for roughly 80 % of the training period.

Required profile

• Completed basic electrical qualification (e.g., electrician diploma).
• Customer‑service orientation and a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and develop personal competence.
• Ability to work in different locations throughout Finland.
