Planning and Fulfilment Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for a Planning and Fulfilment Specialist in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, who will manage and coordinate logistics operations. The specialist ensures that equipment, spare parts and battery deliveries move efficiently through the supply chain while keeping high service levels for internal and external stakeholders. The role is independent and requires almost daily presence in the office or warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase ordering for equipment and materials
• Coordinate shipments and transportation activities
• Monitor order and delivery status throughout the logistics chain
• Communicate delivery schedules, delays and updates to customers and stakeholders
• Work with factories and logistics service providers to ensure on-time deliveries
• Manage and optimise inventory levels across several warehouse locations
• Support warehouse operations and keep inventory accurate and organised
• Visit local warehouse facilities regularly to coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to logistics and warehouse development
• Ensure logistics processes are followed consistently from order placement to final delivery

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, order management or a related field
• Solid organisational skills and ability to handle several tasks at once
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Systematic, detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently
• Fluency in English and Finnish, written and spoken

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP
• Microsoft Excel
