North America Sales Executive – Lighting Design

About the role

Secto Design, a Finnish family‑owned lighting brand, is expanding its presence in North America. Reporting to the Director of Sales, Americas, the Sales Executive will drive growth across the region while coordinating with the Finnish headquarters and the North American warehouse. The role is hybrid, based in Kauniainen with frequent travel across the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve ambitious commercial objectives across North America.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with independent sales representatives and dealers through regular communication, training, and operational support.
• Identify, develop and onboard new dealers, representatives and distribution partners to support long‑term market growth.
• Guide architects, interior designers, dealers and end customers throughout the sales process.
• Act as the primary liaison between the North American warehouse, sales representatives, customers and the headquarters in Finland.
• Monitor inventory levels, anticipate demand and coordinate replenishment to ensure product availability.
• Represent Secto Design at trade shows, customer events and industry exhibitions.
• Track market developments, identify new opportunities and provide insights for strategic decision‑making.
