Marketing Data Science Lead

About the role

Supercell is looking for a Marketing Data Science Lead to own and shape the future of marketing measurement and AI‑driven decision support across its live‑games portfolio. You will report to the Head of Marketing Data and Analytics and lead a team of data scientists and analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Translate game‑team and marketing questions into scoped data‑science projects and ship outcomes that influence investment decisions.
• Own the end‑to‑end predictive modelling portfolio (pLTV, attribution, incrementality, audience modelling) from methodology to production and adoption.
• Set technical standards for applied ML, causal inference and mobile‑games business data science, deciding what ships and what does not.
• Integrate AI tools where they materially improve work (creative analysis, model‑drift diagnostics, decision‑support automation).
• Define the 6‑36 month vision for Marketing Data Science and drive the roadmap.
• Lead, mentor and grow the team, establishing standards, hiring and coaching on stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Senior data‑science practitioner with strong applied statistics, causal inference and classical ML experience.
• Deep expertise in mobile‑marketing measurement (performance, brand, lifecycle, influencer, community).
• Hands‑on experience building and operating production models (CI/CD, monitoring, feature stores, large‑scale warehouses, realtime inference).
• Proven ability to use AI/LLM tooling in data‑science workflows and a clear view of its impact.
• Excellent communication: explain complex models to game leads in minutes.
• Experience leading and developing analysts or data scientists.
• Player‑centric mindset and comfort working in an autonomous, ambiguous environment.
