Senior AI Tech Consultant (Helsinki)

About the role

BCG Platinion is looking for a Senior AI Tech Consultant to join its Helsinki office. You will work on national and international client projects, shaping AI and digital transformation strategies and delivering high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently structure project modules and support junior team members.
• Develop superior IT strategies, concepts, and solutions on site.
• Identify and prioritize high‑value AI and GenAI opportunities.
• Redesign processes and customer journeys for scalable AI adoption.
• Assess technology capabilities and translate findings into clear recommendations and business cases.
• Design foundations for scaling AI, including operating models, governance, and responsible AI.
• Steer implementation modules across business, technology, data, and AI teams using agile methods.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and coach junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Approximately four years of experience in IT consulting or digital transformation, including leading project modules.
• Degree in computer science, informatics, business with a technology focus, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven ability to structure complex client problems, develop fact‑based recommendations, and communicate to senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of AI, GenAI, cloud, data, software and digital platforms.
• Practical experience delivering AI/GenAI initiatives and familiarity with LLM‑based applications, AI agents, agentic workflows, and responsible AI.
• Capability to connect business priorities with technology decisions, evaluating value, feasibility, cost, risk and readiness.
• Experience facilitating client discussions, coordinating junior team members and ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Comfortable in interdisciplinary, global teams, willing to travel and excellent English communication.
