Manager, Warehouse Operations and Equipment

About the role

Kemira is seeking a Manager to lead logistics equipment sourcing and warehouse operations across its international network. The role supports the Supply Chain Management unit and contributes to the company’s sustainability and customer service goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and contracting of logistics equipment such as tank containers and rail wagons, supporting category strategy.
• Manage logistics equipment and warehousing service providers to ensure safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operations.
• Oversee warehouse operations and drive high performance across the logistics network.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional projects that support growth, profitability, sustainability, and customer service objectives.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in sourcing logistics, transportation, warehousing, fleet, or other indirect services in an international environment, including RfQs/RFPs and contract negotiations.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience managing suppliers and service providers with a focus on performance and continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of logistics operations, preferably including warehousing.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex international matrix organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel occasionally.
