Linux System Administrator

About the role

Join a diverse, international company that builds future ICT solutions and supports sensitive data management for research. As a Linux System Administrator you will maintain, develop and support Linux‑based infrastructure handling highly confidential data.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers and services in production environments.
• Monitor system health, performance and capacity.
• Troubleshoot operating system, application and network issues.
• Manage users, permissions, storage and system updates.
• Participate in incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Automate routine operational tasks.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Solid experience administering Linux systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing and firewalls.
• Experience with Bash shell scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of system security, patch management and access control.
• Familiarity with virtualization (KVM) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring, logging and performance analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
