Lead Developer – Full‑stack & Team Lead

About the role

Our award-winning tech community is looking for lead developers to join us in Turku. As a lead developer at Reaktor, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, help your team succeed, and deliver results.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for the client on technical questions and delivery quality.
• Collaborate with the client’s tech and business teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Implement new features that span front‑end applications, back‑end servers, and databases, and define required infrastructure.
• Improve the team’s ways of working, empower optimal workflows and support work‑life balance.
• Build strong relationships with the client to foster future collaboration.
• Assist the team in adopting and following agile practices.

Required profile

• Experienced developer who thrives on technical challenges and provides clarity in ambiguous situations.
• Minimum eight years of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of agile project‑management principles.
• Previous team‑lead and consulting experience.
• Experience working with multiple client stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• Background with at least one server‑side language (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js, Java, Scala, Kotlin, Clojure, Python).
• Strong knowledge of at least one client‑side language/framework (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Swift, React‑native).
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (office or client premises).
