Key Account Director

About the role

Cyient is seeking a commercially driven Key Account Director to lead the commercial agenda for assigned accounts in Finland. You will build trusted customer relationships, shape new opportunities and connect customer needs with Cyient’s engineering, technical documentation, lifecycle, data, digital and technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth plans to drive sustainable account growth, expanding existing business and creating new opportunities.
• Own key customer relationships, stakeholder maps and engagement plans within the assigned business area.
• Identify, qualify and progress opportunities from discovery through workshops, RFQs, proposals, negotiations and contract closure.
• Coordinate cross‑functional solution development across engineering, product, technical documentation, lifecycle, data, digital and technology capabilities.
• Prepare proposals, pricing, scope definitions and internal approvals in collaboration with delivery, finance, legal and capability teams.
• Maintain account plans, opportunity pipelines, forecasts and CRM information.
• Lead the sales‑to‑delivery handover and stay engaged in governance, customer satisfaction, renewals and expansion.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in complex B2B services sales, key account management or business development, preferably in engineering, industrial, energy or marine sectors.
• Proven ability to work with large, multi‑stakeholder customer organisations and lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong commercial understanding of proposal development, pricing, margin management, contracting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Finnish or Swedish is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and maintain an active customer engagement rhythm.
