Director, Technology Strategy & Transformation

About the role

Deloitte's Technology Strategy & Transformation practice is looking for a Director to expand its technology advisory business in the private sector, especially in Energy, Resources & Industrials (ERI) and other asset-intensive industries. This is a market-facing leadership role for an experienced technology advisor who builds trusted executive relationships, identifies opportunities and shapes transformation agendas, rather than a traditional sales role.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with CIOs, CTOs and other technology leaders to define technology strategies and development roadmaps.
• Collaborate across consulting, advisory and industry teams to bring the firm's full capabilities to clients.
• Help clients navigate complex technology, regulatory, geopolitical and AI-driven challenges.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, transformation or advisory consulting, with a track record of winning advisory engagements and growing client pipelines.
• Experience advising on complex transformation programmes and strategic technology decisions.
• Private-sector background, ideally in ERI, infrastructure, consumer goods, utilities or other asset-intensive industries.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and lead high-performing consulting teams.
• Master's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, information technology or a related discipline.
• Fluent English and Finnish.
