Country Manager – Mobility (Finland)

About the role

As the face of Uber in Finland, the Country Manager – Mobility leads the strategy, growth and P&L of the Mobility business in a high‑growth, highly regulated market. The role combines commercial ownership with deep policy engagement and partnership building to ensure sustainable expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial performance of Uber’s Finnish Mobility business, balancing growth ambitions with profitability.
• Define and execute Finland’s mobility growth strategy, navigating the evolving taxi legislative framework and EU directives.
• Lead expansion into new mobility categories, ensuring seamless and sustainable launches.
• Serve as the primary interface with government and policy stakeholders, managing seminars, minister meetings and media engagements.
• Build and maintain face‑to‑face relationships with key local organisations such as Taxi Helsinki and Finnair, providing market intelligence to regional leadership.
• Coordinate crisis response and stakeholder communications in Finnish.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing Nordics team, representing Finland in EMEA forums.

Required profile

• Native or professional proficiency in Finnish.
• 8 + years of experience (or 6 + years with a Master’s degree) in strategy, operations or consulting with proven leadership results.
• Track record of delivering bold growth strategies in fast‑moving, competitive markets.
• Strong commercial instincts and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Experience managing high‑stakes external relationships with government, regulators and industry bodies.
