Tribe Lead

About the role

We are seeking a senior, dynamic leader to head the Finland Technology Tribe at SD Worx. The Tribe Lead will act as an ambassador and driver of progress, ensuring the tribe meets quarterly objectives while continuously improving performance and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Define, drive and evangelise the Tribe’s product vision, strategy, and KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage the product lifecycle (pilot, scale, decommission) with Product Managers and Architects.
• Ensure high standards for quality, security, compliance, and performance.
• Oversee the technology roadmap, including managing technical debt and driving upgrades.
• Lead quarterly business planning and roadmap execution.
• Align priorities across Product Owners, stakeholders, and market teams.
• Monitor delivery progress and manage expectations across the organisation.
• Act as the key link in a matrix organisation, collaborating transversally across tribes and with global portfolio teams.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and outsourced services.
• Serve as the escalation point for product‑related topics in Finland.
• Build and develop a high‑performing organisation aligned with technology and business strategy.
• Lead and coach cross‑functional software development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with global technology strategy, metrics, and compliance standards.
• Contribute to transversal product initiatives and asset development.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in technology and software development within international organisations.
• Strong background in Agile environments and leading large, distributed teams.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale technology programs and transformation initiatives.
• Solid understanding of modern HR tech ecosystems (e.g., payroll, data & analytics, integrations, AI, security) is an advantage.
• Inspiring and pragmatic leader with a strong focus on delivery and people development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus.
