Legal Counsel – Sales Market (Finland, Latvia, Lithuania & Estonia)

About the role

As a Legal Counsel for H&M's sales market covering Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, you will provide legal guidance that protects the business while enabling growth. You will work closely with sales teams, account managers and senior leadership to ensure compliance with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce legal standards, templates and strategies across the market.
• Negotiate, draft and review a variety of agreements, including lease contracts.
• Conduct judicial enquiries, due diligence and risk assessments.
• Support tender processes and manage dispute resolution.
• Establish and maintain contract administration routines.
• Assist sales market controllers and account managers with corporate documentation and governance policies.

Required profile

• University degree in Law.
• 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to leasing or real‑estate matters.
• Strong analytical judgement and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and inspire team members.
• Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with non‑lawyers.
