About the role
Wolt is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design, build and maintain high-throughput backend services that power internal support agents worldwide. You will join a fast-moving product team, collaborate across disciplines and help shape the architecture of a global delivery platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and operate scalable, resilient backend services using Go.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and frontend engineers to deliver features.
- Design systems that handle low-latency, high-throughput workloads.
- Lead architectural discussions and make technical decisions.
- Write well-tested code and uphold high code-quality standards.
Required profile
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of production experience in Golang with mentoring ability.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially Cassandra.
- Deep understanding of distributed, low-latency systems.
