AI & IT Director – Lead Strategy & Architecture

About the role

We are seeking an AI & IT Director to own Lumene Group's AI and IT strategy end‑to‑end. You will define the target operating model, enterprise architecture, budget and vendor governance while leading both in‑house teams and strategic outsourcing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Business Solutions and Data & Analytics teams and oversee outsourced Workplace & Vendor Operations.
• Act as the sole in‑house owner of Security & Compliance and enterprise architecture/infrastructure, executing personally or via partners.
• Govern strategic outsourcing partners, managing SLAs, service reviews, escalations and contract renewals.
• Ensure GDPR, NIS2 and AI Act compliance, chairing the ISMS forum.
• Drive digital transformation and AI adoption across commercial, supply‑chain and finance/HR functions.
• Translate business demand into IT priorities and serve as final escalation point for major incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years in senior IT leadership, preferably with experience transitioning to a partially or fully outsourced IT model.
• Proven track record managing strategic vendor relationships and multi‑partner delivery models.
• Strong background in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
• Experience leading organizational change and excellent executive communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and fluency in English and Finnish.
