HSE Supervisor – Industrial Projects in Finland & Europe

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to support our customers’ industrial projects in Finland and across Europe. The role involves ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment on complex energy, marine, pulp-and-paper and other process-industry sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and develop HSE activities throughout all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with local occupational health, safety and environmental legislation and standards.
• Plan and implement HSE processes such as risk assessments, safety training, emergency preparedness and safe working practices.
• Support project management and site personnel on all HSE‑related matters.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits and observations, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare HSE reports and communicate safety performance to stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and project teams to achieve HSE objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards and best practices.
• Proven experience in industrial project environments or construction sites, preferably in energy, power generation, pulp‑and‑paper, marine or process industries.
• Experience with boiler or power‑plant projects is an advantage.
