Industrial Engineer – Manufacturing Solutions

About the role

KONE is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join its Manufacturing Solutions team in Hyvinkää. The role focuses on developing production methods, driving digitalisation, and supporting industry‑4.0 initiatives across KONE factories.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to meet safety, delivery, quality, productivity and cost targets.
• Design flow standards using LEAN methodology, define production methods, factory layout and material replenishment.
• Conduct studies to optimise operation sequences and recommend technologies for optimal performance.
• Drive digitalisation on the shop floor and execute CAPEX projects aligned with global manufacturing strategy.
• Support daily management by evaluating data, identifying technical issues and preparing analytical reports.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a manufacturing or development engineer.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and LEAN manufacturing.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
