Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join Etteplan’s hybrid team, working on customer projects that drive industrial digitalisation. The role can be tailored to your preferences and skills, offering exposure to a variety of data and analytics challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines, data platforms, warehouses and lake solutions.
• Transform, model and integrate data from multiple sources into reliable datasets for analytics, reporting and AI.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, software developers and other specialists to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, security and maintainability throughout the data lifecycle, using both batch and real‑time processing.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar data‑focused role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with modern data engineering tools such as dbt, Snowflake and/or Databricks.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with data transformation and integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and understanding of data architecture concepts.
