Threat Intelligence Specialist – Helsinki

About the role

Nordea is seeking a Threat Intelligence Specialist to join its Physical & People Security team in Helsinki. You will play a key role in shaping the group’s threat intelligence programme across the Nordics, Poland and Estonia, turning complex security data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operationalise a robust threat intelligence programme.
• Design and maintain procedures for threat collection, analysis and dissemination.
• Support the organisation with threat and risk assessments for major events, executive protection and other security initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments for premises, processes and people.
• Act as the central point for operational threat intelligence, collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners and vendors.
• Provide guidance to Nordea employees on security‑related questions.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures and related instructions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities and clear communication of security insights.
• Proven experience in threat and risk assessment methodologies.
• High emotional intelligence, flexibility and situational awareness.
• Ability to build trust, influence senior leaders and work across functions and countries.
