Tenured Professor in Accounting (Full or Associate Level)

About the role

Aalto University School of Business seeks a tenured professor in Accounting at the full or associate level to join the Department of Accounting and Business Law. The appointment is planned for spring 2027 (date negotiable) on the Otaniemi campus in Espoo.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality research in accounting and publish in top‑tier journals.
• Teach two undergraduate or graduate accounting courses each academic year.
• Supervise bachelor’s and master’s thesis projects within the accounting field.
• Contribute to the development of the department’s research and education community.
• Engage with national and international academic and business networks.

Required profile

• PhD in Accounting or a closely related discipline.
• Strong international publication record in leading accounting journals.
• Demonstrated experience in university‑level teaching and thesis supervision.
• Ability to attract research funding and lead collaborative projects.
