Technical Marketing Engineer - Voltage Regulators

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) is looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to support the market adoption and customer success of its voltage regulator portfolio. The engineer becomes a product expert who turns chip capabilities into practical customer solutions, actively researching market needs and working with IC designers, hardware developers and applications engineers to build evaluation boards, write datasheets and support customers through schematic and layout integration. The preferred locations are Finland or Sweden.

Key responsibilities

• Research the market and talk with customers to find unmet technical needs and trends, turning them into feature definitions for next-generation products.
• Work with chip designers and engineering teams so that customer-facing features match silicon capabilities.
• Design, test and deliver evaluation boards and kits so customers can benchmark and test the silicon.
• Help draft, review and update datasheets, application notes and layout optimization guides.
• Contribute to new product development by gathering market data and summarizing technical feedback from early customer engagements.
• Master the voltage regulator technology to support customers with schematic reviews and PCB layout checks.
• Document and highlight product advantages such as efficiency and thermal performance for each target application.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication, able to interview customers and explain technical hardware concepts to buyers and design teams.
• Professional English proficiency (working language).
• Hands-on experience with PCB design software and standard lab equipment.

• Oscilloscopes, power supplies and digital multimeters
