Team Lead – Digitalization & Modernization (Marine)

About the role

We are looking for a Team Lead to head our Digitalization and Modernization software development team within the Marine Business Unit. You will be responsible for the Aura APM platform – a data‑driven Asset Performance Management solution that helps maritime operators optimise maintenance and improve asset performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the marine software development team, fostering wellbeing and competence growth.
• Ensure successful development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Aura APM platform.
• Drive commercial success through customer collaboration, sales support and business development activities.
• Plan resources, manage budgeting and workload, and support project delivery while improving processes.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to align product development with business goals.

Required profile

• Relevant educational background and a maritime background with ship‑operations experience.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams in a software development environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with ability to prioritize and make decisions in a dynamic setting.
• Experience in resource planning, budgeting and performance management.
• Understanding of software product development and lifecycle management.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and professional proficiency in Finnish and English.
