System Operations Specialist, Trade & Logistics

About the role

ABB Motion is looking for a Systems Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence and digitalisation across its logistics network. Based in Vaasa, you will optimise TMS and SAP solutions, ensure compliant cross‑border flows and enable data‑driven decisions that improve delivery performance and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and develop TMS and SAP SD solutions, coordinating enhancements and maintaining stable operations.
• Analyse KPIs and operational data, working with BI teams to create dashboards and control‑tower views.
• Lead data‑driven projects, implement system‑based improvements and support stakeholders in achieving cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with ABB policies, trade regulations and internal controls, managing data quality and audit support.
• Promote digitalisation, share best practices and support global teams in adopting new visibility tools.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in engineering, IT, industrial management or business administration.
• Extensive experience with SAP, GTS, TMS platforms, Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
• Team‑player attitude with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with control towers, IoT tracking and warehouse execution systems.
