Strategy & Risk Management Manager

About the role

Kalmar is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Risk Management to translate long‑term vision into coordinated, high‑impact execution. Based at the global headquarters in Helsinki, you will work closely with executive leadership to steer strategic initiatives and safeguard business continuity worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate the annual global strategy cycle, linking long‑term vision with mid‑term operational plans.
• Partner with business units to prioritize strategic initiatives and align global resources.
• Lead foresight processes to anticipate major market shifts and enhance strategic agility.
• Act as a trusted strategic partner to executive teams, facilitating high‑level workshops and translating complex insights.
• Own and run the global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) processes.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in strategic foresight and corporate governance.
• Experience collaborating directly with senior executives.
• Ability to navigate market changes and protect business continuity.
• Strong analytical mindset and high‑stakes decision‑making capability.
