Senior/Principal Statistician – Sponsor Dedicated (EMEA)

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistician dedicated to sponsor‑driven early‑phase projects across the EMEA region. The role provides statistical expertise throughout the clinical trial lifecycle, from protocol design to the final clinical study report.

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical support across all phases of assigned projects, from protocol development to CSR delivery.
• Prepare and author Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and create mock‑up displays for tables, listings, and figures.
• Develop statistical components of protocols, generate randomization schedules, and contribute to publications.
• Coordinate and mentor biostatistics and statistical programming staff to ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables.
• Conduct independent reviews of work produced by other biostatisticians.
• Create and review programming specifications for analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
• Review SAS‑annotated case report forms, database designs, and study documentation to verify compliance with protocol requirements.
• Perform verification and quality‑control activities on all statistical outputs.

Required profile

• Senior or Principal level biostatistician with experience in early‑phase clinical studies.

Required skills

• SAS programming and data analysis.
• Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) development.
• Randomization schedule generation.
• Programming specifications for analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
• Quality control and verification of statistical deliverables.
