Senior UI Artist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UI Artist to join the Clash Royale team at Supercell. In this hands‑on role you will create beautiful, polished UI art for a live mobile game, working closely with developers, UX designers and game designers to turn features and events into clear, delightful visual experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality UI screens, elements and assets for the live game.
• Produce polished UI animations and motion treatments that make the interface feel responsive and alive.
• Translate wireframes, flows and feature designs into production‑ready UI in collaboration with designers.
• Work with developers to ensure UI assets and animations are implemented correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain and evolve the game’s UI visual language while respecting existing art direction.
• Seek feedback and alignment from art direction, design, development, marketing and community stakeholders.
• Improve the quality, consistency, readability and polish of existing UI across the live game.
• Help build reusable UI components, visual standards and production practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a UI Artist, Game Artist, 2D Artist or similar role in games.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent UI art, visual polish, readability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a small, highly collaborative team.
• Proactive attitude, strong visual decision‑making and alignment with game’s art direction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Photoshop or similar 2D art production tools.
• Experience creating UI animations, transitions and interaction feedback.
• Understanding of layout, composition, color, typography, visual hierarchy and iconography.
• Willingness to learn Adobe Animate / Flash and other tools used in the UI production pipeline.
