Senior People Operations Specialist

About the role

Verda is building a European AI cloud powered by renewable energy and needs a Senior People Operations Specialist to scale its People Operations function across multiple countries. You will work closely with the Head of People Operations to ensure smooth employee experiences from onboarding to offboarding while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and refine core People Operations processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employment administration, maintain accurate records, and coordinate payroll and benefits with internal and external partners.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement efficiencies, automate workflows, and improve data quality in People systems.
• Support compliance initiatives, uphold data privacy standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in People Operations, HR administration, or a similar HR role.
• Strong understanding of multi‑country employment law (Europe, US, APAC) and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to improve processes, drive operational excellence, and support rapid organizational growth.
• Excellent attention to detail, stakeholder management, and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms, specifically HiBob.
• Hands‑on experience supporting payroll and benefits processes.
• Ability to automate workflows and work with HR data systems.
