Senior IT Engineer

About the role

Skylo is looking for a Senior IT Engineer to own, scale and maintain its global internal IT infrastructure. You will bridge day‑to‑day corporate IT operations with the advanced needs of engineering and operations teams spread across Finland, India and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design, monitor and expand Skylo’s global IT footprint across multiple offices.
• Manage cloud productivity suites (Google Workspace/Enterprise) and core SaaS tools such as Slack, Jira, Confluence, GitHub and Zoom.
• Implement role‑based access controls and user lifecycle workflows using modern IAM platforms (e.g., Okta).
• Secure and manage a mixed‑OS fleet (primarily macOS, some Windows) with MDM solutions like Jamf, Kandji and Intune.
• Deploy and maintain enterprise networking components including firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust Network Access, VLANs and Wi‑Fi 6 environments.
• Collaborate with IT teams in India and Finland to ensure high availability, security and compliance.

Required profile

• Strong background in corporate IT infrastructure, cloud‑first fleet management and enterprise networking.
• Hands‑on experience with IAM and MDM platforms.
• Ability to automate processes and work with AI‑enabled tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving mindset and ability to support cross‑continental teams.
