Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centre (Finland)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical engineering effort on a large‑scale data centre project in Finland. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from concept design through construction, testing, commissioning and handover, and offers a two‑year rotational contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, review and coordination of all electrical systems for the data centre.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, local regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, structural and commissioning teams to deliver seamless project outcomes.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, technical submittals, specifications and design changes.
• Support power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, lighting, earthing and other critical infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, technical issues and project risks.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Assist procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Drive value‑engineering initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer on data centre, mission‑critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, energy or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services, power systems and critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience reviewing and coordinating engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite in Finland on a rotational basis.
