Senior Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join Supercell’s Central Automation team in Helsinki. You will shape the next generation of engineering tools, improve the reliability of automated test systems, and explore AI‑driven workflows that help game teams ship faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evolve and operate the automation infrastructure used across Supercell.
• Improve reliability, scalability and observability of automation platforms.
• Build tools that enable developers to test, debug and release with confidence.
• Partner with game teams to solve real engineering problems and reduce flaky tests.
• Define how AI can enhance testing, debugging, reporting and developer productivity.
• Own services and infrastructure that other engineers rely on daily.

Required profile

• Has built and operated automation platforms or infrastructure at scale.
• Understands that great automation combines reliability, usability and test quality.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile automation, device farms, CI/CD, job orchestration or developer tooling.
• Excited by AI opportunities and able to turn them into practical tools.
• Enjoys cross‑team collaboration, taking ownership and working in ambiguous situations.
• Motivated to build platforms that boost productivity for hundreds of engineers.
