Security Specialist - Site Security Officer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Security Specialist to act as the site security officer at its Jyväskylä site. Working in international projects, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and integrate technological security solutions for customers' needs. The role sits within the Public Safety sector and covers physical site security, access control, technical security systems and key management, in line with national (KATAKRI), EU and NATO security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day physical site security, access control, technical security systems and key management
• Maintain site occupational health and safety (OHS) and fire safety through routine inspections, safety walks and incident mitigation
• Handle physical site access and visitor management
• Oversee technical systems such as access control, intrusion detection and CCTV
• Supervise service providers, including ID badges, guarding and security system maintenance
• Ensure compliance with KATAKRI, EU and NATO standards
• Support security documentation management, process development and security development projects assigned by the Security Manager

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in security systems management and physical security
• Deep understanding of national security regulations (KATAKRI) and ability to implement EU/NATO facility security requirements
• Professional working proficiency in Finnish and English
• Eligibility for a Personnel Security Clearance (PSC); the position requires standard Finnish security clearance
