Quality Manager

About the role

Mercury is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function on a large‑scale MEP and CSA construction project in Helsinki. You will be responsible for ensuring zero‑defect delivery, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a safety‑first culture across the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project quality team, establishing procedures, controls and systems on site.
• Develop and implement quality plans, manuals, inspection and test plans, and related documentation.
• Audit QA systems continuously to ensure project KPIs are met and maintain an incident‑free environment.
• Identify, assess and mitigate quality risks in processes and controls.
• Train all project personnel to the required competency level for high‑quality delivery.
• Promote a safe working environment and act as a role model for safety practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager on MEP or large construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach team members.
• Demonstrated ability to build long‑term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to delivering “right first time” outcomes and zero rework.
• Excellent understanding of safety standards and incident‑free project delivery.
