Purchasing Manager – Data Center Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities on our data‑center construction site in Seinäjoki, Finland. You will ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment and services at optimal cost while building strong supplier relationships and supporting project delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement and purchasing activities on the construction site.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, timelines and terms with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Evaluate suppliers on quality, reliability, technical capability and availability.
• Maintain accurate records and supplier databases.
• Continuously improve procurement systems and processes.
• Develop purchasing policies and define guidelines for tendering, quotations and vendor selection.
• Support internal stakeholders and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.

Required profile

• Strong experience in procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably in a fast‑paced, structured environment.
• Commercially minded, analytical and confident in negotiations.
• Ability to build long‑term supplier partnerships and support high‑impact projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with purchasing systems.
