Production Manager

About the role

ABB is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a team within the Netcontrol Distribution Solutions division in Helsinki. The role is primarily onsite and involves overseeing the final assembly, licensing, testing, and logistics of sub‑station units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team responsible for order‑specific sub‑station (RTU) final assembly, license activation and testing.
• Manage inbound goods receipt, warehouse upkeep, order picking, packaging and shipment coordination.
• Handle order processing, procurement for stock and projects, and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Integrate production processes with ABB’s operating methods and drive related change management.
• Monitor production and supply‑chain KPIs and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
• Relevant technical education, e.g., an engineering degree (AMK).
• Fluent Finnish and English communication skills.
• Experience with change management, process improvement and ERP systems is valued.
